Hello! I rise from the dead.

i’m sorry I’ve been nowhere in sight, i’ve just had college work and final year stuff thats murdered my creativity.

for those that have missed me and my edits i’ll be back tonight or tomorrow (probs tonight)

I’ve done nothing but read George R.R. Martin and listen to Asgeir - all my free time and my attention has been on that (so much so it’s even interfered with college work at night)

BUT

i have loooooaads lined up if anyones bothered.

oh, new followers…hello too

well, i've always liked simon & garfunkel but have really gotten into their albums and his solo stuff within the past year. he's definitely one of my favorite lyricists; a storyteller.

Yeah! How do you feel about the whole world music thing he got into during the 80s? Do you prefer his simpler, folkie early stuff (Songbook for example) to that?. I love both but theres something so pure and kind of true in Paul’s early stuff…it reduces me to tears every time…Bleecker Street, Benedictus, He Was My Brother, On The Side of a Hill etc…I know some of those are covers and so don’t display his extraordinary lyrical ability as you mentioned, but for raw emotion and untapped wells of feeling and meaning…oh my god.

also the more I see DoS (watched it illegally a good few times since the first and second cinema outing) the more I love Tauriel. She’s especially enchanting and inspiring after the 3 day Sherlock marathon i’ve been in. When you watch nothing but poorly written female characters for that long it’s really refreshing to go into (at least I think) a pretty interesting and well realised female character. (obviously, it’s not perfect)

yep, tired (but trying to look as awake as possible)…just got back from Desolation of Smaug…second time on the IMAX its pretty great…no need to see it IMAX 3D again but I just had to see Thranduil at 48 fps at least once more before December 2014
so glad my cinephile friend noticed the utterly ridiculous GoPro-looking barrel shots…really takes you out of the moment. That and the fact that because of it being 3D you have to keep your head perfectly aligned, otherwise you’ll get nothing but blur.
but who cares, it’s brilliant ughhh

AWOL

but I won’t be for long.

in case any of you have missed me and my edits/screencaps I will be back. those who haven’t? well as you were.

i’ve just been preoccupied getting to grips with Sherlock (beginning to present caught up now) had to see what it was all about. REEEEAAALLYY enjoyed it. Tomorrow i’m going with a friend to see The Hobbit at the IMAX again, so obviously that’s got me tied up till at least Saturday afternoon, where I promise to be back proper.

sorry
